Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How we check the site
In October 2026 we ran automated accessibility checks (axe) on every page, in the dark and light themes, at desktop and phone widths. We also checked keyboard use, focus visibility, zoom to 400%, reflow at 320 pixels wide, text spacing, colour contrast and reduced motion by hand, and fixed what we found. We haven’t yet tested the site with screen readers.
What still needs work
- Our videos don’t have captions or transcripts yet.
- The CUB AI Roundtable slides are images. A text version of every slide is on the same page, and the PDF download is tagged for screen readers.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from bots, is run by Cloudflare. If it stops you sending a form, email or call us instead.
- The AI Decision Map guide is an older standalone page with some low-contrast text.
- Some articles migrated from our previous website have images with brief descriptions.
