AI Implementation Partnership

InnovateX acts as your fractional Chief AI Officer. We take ownership of your AI agenda, coach your people and work alongside them to put it into practice, with guardrails agreed first.

What is an AI implementation partnership?

It's an ongoing engagement in which InnovateX Solutions leads your AI agenda as a fractional Chief AI Officer. We prioritise opportunities, train and coach your people, support implementation and keep progress accountable through a rolling 90 day roadmap and monthly reviews, using the 6S method.

Why does AI progress stall in a growing business?

Most businesses already have AI activity. Staff try tools on their own and a few pilots start. Progress stops when nobody owns the priorities or the follow-through.

An overflowing glass in-tray of papers beside an empty glass chair
  • Pilots finish without anyone deciding whether to roll them out.

  • Staff get licences but no training on the work they do each day.

  • Leaders can't see what AI has delivered, so the next investment waits.

  • Nobody has decided which data AI tools can use or who checks the output.

How does the partnership work each month?

We run the 6S method against your rolling 90 day roadmap. Each month we safeguard, pick the next opportunities, shape and pilot them with your team, then scale what works.

How the 6S method works
  1. 01

    Safeguard

Set the guardrails before anything else. Agree which data AI tools can see, which tools are approved and where a person checks the output.

  2. 02

    Spot

Find the opportunities in the work your team already does, then rank them by value and readiness on an opportunity matrix.

  3. 03

    Select

Choose the platform and tools against clear criteria, starting with what you already pay for.

  4. 04

    Shape

Give AI the business context it needs, from approved documents and templates to a simple company brain.

  5. 05

    Systemise

Pilot before you automate. Test with real work, record the results and only then turn it into a repeatable process.

  6. 06

    Scale

Roll out to the wider team once the pilot meets the agreed conditions, then repeat the cycle on the next process.

What does the partnership include?

Implementation priorities and scope are agreed together. Software and substantial custom development are agreed separately.

Ownership and prioritisation

Monthly leadership sessions and a rolling 90 day roadmap. Opportunities are chosen against business priorities and readiness, with agreed responsibilities, decisions and success measures.

Training and coaching

Practical sessions tailored to your people’s roles and actual work, built on the same material as our AI masterclass, plus ongoing coaching for internal champions with practical playbooks.

Implementation support

We shape the approach, select tools and help configure agreed improvements, then guide access, testing and adoption. Substantial custom development is scoped separately.

Accountability and progress

Regular follow-up with owners to clear blockers, a review of adoption and results against agreed measures, and a monthly progress report.

Is this the right fit for your business?

A good fit if

  • You run an A$10m to A$200m business with repeatable work across teams.
  • AI activity needs an accountable leader and a shared direction.
  • You want training, coaching and support that builds your team’s capability.
  • You can provide a sponsor, a process owner and time for adoption.

Probably not a fit if

  • You only want a licence, a workshop or a strategy report.
  • You need a single fixed project with no ongoing partnership.
  • You want an outsourced development team or unlimited custom builds.
  • You can't commit people, approved access or human oversight.

If you only need direction, the Fractional Chief AI Officer retainer starts from A$2,500 a month.

Questions about the partnership

How much does the partnership cost?

The partnership is A$14,500 per month excluding GST, with monthly billing and 30 days’ notice. Software, usage and any separate discovery are agreed separately. Scope and start date are confirmed before you commit.

How is it different from a Fractional Chief AI Officer retainer?

The retainer, from A$2,500 a month, is the advisory version. The partnership adds role-specific training, champion coaching and hands-on implementation support, so your team ends up running AI in their daily work.

Do you work with businesses across Australia?

Yes. InnovateX Solutions is based in Brisbane and works with Australian businesses. The first strategy call is a 30-minute Microsoft Teams meeting.

Do we have to replace our systems?

No. We start with what you already use. Any new tool, access requirement or additional cost is agreed first. If discovery is needed before reliable scoping, we agree that separately.

What does our team need to do?

Provide an executive sponsor and a process owner. Help us understand the work, provide approved access, test and take part in training. Sensitive decisions and customer commitments stay with your authorised team.

How does implementation support work?

We work alongside your people to put agreed priorities into practice, from choosing tools and shaping the approach to configuration, testing and adoption. Substantial custom software, integrations or engineering projects need an explicit scope and a separate agreement.
